Ayah Marar is a name you should know; dubbed ‘the queen of UK bass’ and with a loyal following of ‘bunheads’, Ayah has been putting in the work for years. She’s collaborated with huge names such as Camo & Krooked, and Total Science (to name a few). This time she teams up with rising Dubstep behemoth, Cutline, for the first release on her new label: Hustle Girl. With plans to unleash mighty bass music hell on anyone and everyone with a pair of ears, I expect big things from Ayah and her new label in 2012.

When I saw 12th Planet at the Skrillex show last month he told me about this free EP, but I totally underestimated it. Formerly known throughout the DnB world as Infultrata, this producer has definitely put his time in and it shows. Tuff Love Dubs is set to drop another tasty banger, this time from Belgium based badass, Point.Blank. Keeping a steady pace, Tuff Love marches into the new year with prestige. I expect big things from them this year. Keep an eye out for their first release of 2012 when it drops on Jan 30th.
John B‘s Beta Recordings displays its diversity once again with two 140bpm re-imaginings of two huge Terravita tracks. Enlisting two of America’s finest dubstep exports, Bare and J.Rabbit, Beta unleashes a massive pair of dubstep bangers that’re sure to decimate dance floors from Croydon to California. You can get your copy on January 23rd.
Torqux just linked me to this new video he put together for a new tune of his and I must say I’m jealous. It captures the essesnce of Dubstep rather well, and I think I like it better than my attempt at a similar video.
