Polish Pat passed along this solid mix of some of Borgore’s finest. Make sure you got your dancin’ shoes ready for Boregore @ Crowbar, Tampa, FL on Nov. 16th. Big ups to Jack for the flyer, it’s not the final version yet, but soon as more event details come through you know where to go :)
Let’s get completely off the subject of music for a minute and discuss the fact you can buy a full-size replica space suit that can be worn. On your body. Repeatedly. Even every day if you wish. Of course after the first few days you would become “that guy”, but who in their right mind doesn’t want to be “that guy always wearing the space suit”?
Stenchman stayin’ busy y’all. I’m a bit late on the draw here, but there’s enough free music in this post to make up for it. Grab the free album and this doubly crunk remix of Gucci, and send some $$$ to Stenchman while your at it. His paypal is stenchmandub@hotmail.com

I picked up this slick MRK 1 remix of a track by some folks called The Melvins, considering it’s a rock song I would have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the crunkitude MRK 1 invoked within.
This Medison track has been a steady repeat on my playlist, the contrast of the spooky vocal wailing with what sounds like a melody composed of explosions makes this a really strand-out tune.
This Blue Foundation remix is what I would term dubstep-light, if I was into the whole sub-genre thing. That is Zeds style though, and it works amazingly well for this track.
Haphazard 4 was the shit. That’s is all the commentary I can muster, I still have sleep to catch up on. Heres some dubs that have been sitting on my hard-drive for a few weeks. Stay tuned for an exclusive guest mix set coming soon.
Every week we’ll be rounding up some pop remixes for you, so when someone asks if you heard some new Lady Gaga track you can be all like “No, but I heard the dubstep remix that makes it sound like an elephant trying to mate with a hiyena.”
Still not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, throwing feces is never an acceptable way to communicate your anger, on the other hand, those feces were being thrown at someone who is partly responsible for degrading civilization itself. So conflicted!
CLRH2O (pronounced “Clearwater”) put me on to some new ish by Halo Nova, who just signed onto TUFF LOVE DUBS. I think it’s a testament to Halo’s skills that he’s managed to remix “Rude Boy” into something not just tolerable but catchy enough to make it onto my regular-listening playlist.
For Bass Reflections 50th release they chose to drop their first Dubstep remix, and a rugged one it is. Mars has been a heavy-hitter in the international NuSkool Breaks scene for a couple years now and his releases have been showing more and more dub elements. Mars’ remix of “If I Died” is a full on assault to the eardrums with the kind of wobbles that get inside your head and scramble your brains. This tune will make the perfect addition to any aggressive Dubstep DJs arsenal. Look for it when it drops on August 5th.
