I’ve heard a couple Celldweller tunes floating around, but this one smacked me in the face with the relentless and energetic mayhem that went into its production. This remix is a fearless and almost reckless jam that is sure to please any hungry Drumsteppers on the dancefloor. Pick up your copy on iTunes.

Asking Alexandria – A Lesson Never Learned (Celldweller Remix)
Free Crack Roundup 9/27/11

Hey there fellow Floridubbers, I noticed a slew of free tunes coming out over the past week and Figured its about time to do another one of these. Admittedly, some of these tunes come from big enough artists to deserve their own posts, but this is much easier for my lazy-ass to slap together so… you’re just gonna have to deal with it.
Skream - The diplomatic Dubstep ambassador does it again by dropping a dope new diddy for all his fans. We’ll start this off with a bit of mid-week mellow step for ya.
Temper D - I consider this guy one of the most talented and dynamic producers in EDM today. So I always jump on an opportunity to get more of you listening to his jams. This one is a face-melting Drumstep slammer.
Getter - Another highly talented artist offing up a more traditional style freebee. A little too much reverb for my personal taste, but I hear DJs playing tunes like this all the time so I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
Kill Paris - This deep and dirty gem right here is to help promote their upcoming EP “This Is Panty Soak n Dropstep”. Make sure to watch for this one when it drops next month.
BreakZhead - One of my favorite Rissian crossover Breakbeat artists dabbles in the mellow side of some grunge-step and offers up his experiments. His use of dirty bass patches under nice reverb piano and smooth vocals gives an interesting effect of conflicting emotions making a great tune to zone out to in the headphones.
Drop Goblin - The super villain is back at it again. Announcing his return with a quirky but interesting and immaculate remix of Gym Class Heroes & Adam Levine tune “Stereo Hearts” ..while this doesn’t use their vocals, and is a UK Tribute band cover, the result is nothing but fun.
Sirkit - Last but certainly not least is this young Florida native trying to make a name for himself with a lot of hard work and a solid Electro feel that stays true to the state. I’ve said this before, but keep your eyes on this kid, for real.
Far Too Loud – Moneymaker
Y’all know I love posting about Breakbeat srossover artists, and this group is definitely one of the greats. If you haven’t heard of Far Too Loud, you definitely need to check out their back catalog of epic Psytrance and Breaks. They pretty much owned the Breakbeat industry in 2008. This tune is a good demonstration of their skills, but if they keep making Dub/Drumstep tunes, I wouldn’t be surprised if they changed the genre all together.

Hirshee vs Dawn Penn – You Don’t Love Me
Here’s a hot lil Drumstep remix Hershee sent our way yesterday. Go ahead, download it. You know you want to.
Alexandre – Dead Dreams
Alexandre had been hinting at a big collaboration for the past few weeks, so I was excited when he hit me up the other day to let me know Dead Dreams had dropped on Grunt Worthy.
Starting with the title track Dead Dreams and continuing throughout each of the 5 tracks on here is a dark and soulful sound that at times manages to be emotionally evocative. He starts off with some massive soundscapes on Dead Dreams and Ex Inferis that come off sounding very spacey and dreamlike, but then delves into a groovy jazz and soul tinged DnB/drumstep feel on Freedom before rounding things out with some filth via Gossamer and Power Stance. Powerful stuff.

Beastie Boys – No Sleep Till Brooklyn (Wick-it Remix)
Hey there Floridubbers. I was out all last week and I missed all kinds of goodies including both the Skism and Feed Me shows while I was gone, but there will be a video posted later this week. I know I also have a lot of tunage to catch up on but this gnarly little Drumstep remix by Wick-it the Instigator jumped out at me when I got back last night, so I wanted to get it to you first. This Nashville based producer is truly on his game and his Beasties remix instantly earned its way to the top of my Drumstep favorites. I highly suggest checking this track, and the rest of Wick-it’s work out.
Borgore feat. Adi Ulmansky – Someone Else’s (Document One Remix)
When I first heard the promos for Borgore‘s new EP, “Delicious”, I totally didn’t even see this track. It was the Drumstep that stood out to me until the album dropped yesterday on Beatport. Leave it up to Document One to come through and basically destroy the entire EP with a guest appearance on one of today’s leading Dubstep artists records. I can promise you I will be rinsing this one until its tired.
And here is the “Delicious” Drumstep track I mentioned:
Another free track from Figure
Figure is one of my favorite… figures in the EDM scene today. The most (and some would argue only) well known Drumstep producer is constantly flooding the scene with new and free tracks so it’s nearly impossible to keep his name out of your music folders. I think he has a great plan, not a lot of artists make money on record sales these days so Figure just drops them all for free and makes his money on the road. His newest freebie is a follow up to his last free album about monsters. Check it out.
Matrix & Futurebound – Biology (ft. Cat Knight)
It’s rare that I come across some original and Drumstep that stands out to me, but this is a really sweet and creative track that I want to share with you. Its by Matrix & Futurebound, and it is available on Viper Recordings.
