Just when you thought this was another mundane Monday morning, our boy from across the pond posts this ridiculous remix. Torqux took the club-friendly vibes provided by the original and twisted it into a growling, hellish mayhem that is just so disgustingly delicious. This made my Monday mildly more manageable. Big ups to Torqux!
You can get your hands on a copy when it comes out with the remix compilation April 30th on Tool Room Records.
Tiesto & Mark Knight - Beautiful World (Torqux Remix)
This young Frenchman known as M.S.D. is determined to earn his spot along side the heavyweights of Dub. Having the luck of being close friends with a professional sound designer, this kid dove quickly into advanced synthesis and has been producing prolifically over the past year as he developed his immense sound.
His last EP dropped in February, and with two more forthcoming on Dubsaw and Heavy Artillery Recordings, the ‘No Forgo EP’ is just the beginning of the madness M.S.D. intends to spread across ear-holes and dancefloors everywhere. Spending time in the studio with Habstrakt, and already receiving radio support from BBC Radio1, it’s not hard to see that this young producer is one to watch out for.

One of the most consistent and prolific producers out right now, Tim Ismag just cannot be stopped. I don’t know how, but pretty much anything this guy puts his hands on comes out over-the-top wicked nasty. The newest example of this is the ‘Neverland EP’, out today on Play Me Records. A seven track EP spanning all that is filthy between 110 and 175 beats per minute. Check it out and support the artist by purchasing a copy of this release.
Kicking the door down at Viper Recordings with his debut EP, Jeff Montalvo, aka Seven Lions is likely to become a household name in the EDM realm very soon. A man of few words, he chooses to let his basslines and ability to bridge the gap between Dubstep and Trance do the talking.
The ‘Polarize EP’ as a whole is really quite impressive. Each track is deep, progressive and technical with unraveling layers of intense synth patterns that keep you pumped through the entire journey. Soothingly chaotic in a way that few producers can accomplish. Seven Lions is definitely another youngster you need to look out for.
In their journeys through the uncharted underground, our friends at Low Pass Records found this prolific French producer called Darj. After unearthing his hefty catalog of deep and dark dubs left overlooked by most, Low Pass Records signed him for their sixth release. Enter the ‘Dark Matter EP’. Four tracks of vastly spacious Dubstep of the more traditional variety that will take you on a soothing journey through sound and space.
The EP dropped yesterday so you can grab a copy at Beatport, and get a free promo from Darj when you visit the Low Pass Records Soundcloud page.
This nasty little EP dropped on High Chai Recordings yesterday. With heavy and creative remixes from heavyweights FS and Liquid Stranger, you know its going to be nothing short of dope. Now do the right thing and go buy a copy.
The saga continues as Captain Panic! launches their epic EP, ‘Holographic Universe’ into hyper speed! Wars of the future will be fought in space, a realm dominated by Captain Panic! 7 monster tracks including allied support from Elliot Mars, Rekoil and Node take this EP to realms beyond the stratosphere where worlds collide!
I just came across this chunky new banger from one of my favorite Dubstep Duos, Pixelfist. With some gnarly tech bass and an overall aggressive feel, this track is perfect for a Monday afternoon.
Check for ‘Sacred’ forthcoming on Cheap Thrills sometime later this month.
Bare announced the arrival of his new album coming April 23rd with this rad little trailer. I hear people talking about how Bare has ‘lost his flavor’, but I think people are just getting used to his sound… because it hasn’t changed. I personally think these tracks are some of his best work. Check it out and decide for yourself.
XSSR Dubstep takes another strong step forward with their first release of 2012. Exhibiting superior production skills and a taste for grime, this collaboration between Mars and KillReall is designed to prove that the label is a force to be reckoned with.
The title track is engaging from the start with an interesting use of sample arrangements that fit together like a high-scoring game of Tetris. After building into a smooth drop it opens up into a creative and organic sounding chaos that still maintains an up-beat, directional feel. ‘Gorilla Box’ will fit in any heavy Dubstep set like a block in the pyramids.
