Flux Pavilion & Doctor P – Superbad (Offcial Video)

It’s been a crazy week my fellow Floridubbers. I’ll do my best to catch you up, but for now here is one of my favorite things that happened since we last left you:

MNNiA vs. StereoKillaz – Two Steps Closer (free)EP

Hungarian producer Gergo Schmidt a.k.a. MNNiA, sent this pretty impressive (and Free) EP our way over the weekend. “Two Steps Closer” has a pretty dynamic feel to it with influences ranging from in-your-face styles like Doctor P, to extremely deep and melodic production like Xilent. It’s definitely worth a listen, plus its free. Below is the preview and here is the download link.

Doctor P – Tetris

Just what we need.. Another obnoxious remix of the Tetris theme… Thanks Doctor P.

Flux Pavilion & Doctor P – Takeover! Mix on BBC Radio1

Flux Pavilion & Doctor P take it full-force to the MistaJam show to get the juices flowing for their upcoming Takeover! tour. I keep hearing that there will be dates in Florida, however I don’t have anything solid for you yet. But rest assured fellow Floridubbers, we will keep you posted. For now check out this nasty mix and keep it locked right here.

DJ Fresh – Louder (Doctor P & Flux Pavilion Remix)

A nice, new vocal banger by two of our favorite artists from the Circus records camp. No word on a release date yet.

Doctor P’s 4/20 Mix on BBC Radio 1

Doctor P comes through with an impressive mix of classics, exclusive mashups/ re-rubs, and forthcoming releases for BBC’s 4/20 edition of their Daily Dose of Dubstep. Not nearly as obnoxious as I expected it to be, this mix kept me interested all the way through with a healthy balance of vocal dubs and the face melting smashers you’ve come to expect from the Circus Records camp.

Full track list after the jump.

BASSFACE Vol. 11

Whats up Floridubbers? We’ve got another phat stash of face folding, nightmarish tunes, from all across the planet wrapped up in one earslap of a post today. Enjoy.
Hirshee - Lets start of with some Canadian, face-melting Drumstep. This tune put me on my ass the first time I heard it. My favorite type of tracks are the ones that can balance out the beautiful female vocals with the sinister and gnarly basslines. This one is spot on.

Hirshee feat. Tonye Aganaba - So Good

Getter - If you haven’t heard about this guy, look out. Getter has been attracting a lot of attention to himself with his powerful remixes of well known tunes like Flux Pavillion’s “Bass Canon”, and this time Doctor P’s classic “Big Boss”. Getter is currently touring the States so don’t be surprised if you see him on the flyer for one of our next shows.

Phetsta - Here is another well made vocal remix by this up-and-coming Australian producer. This one is available on Technique Recordings. If the 2:40 preview isn’t enough for you, you can preview the full track here.
Phetsta - Run You Down featuring Reija Lee

TroubleGum - Known for their dirty ass electro house, TroubleGum has been experimenting with the darker side of the Dubstep. There are no words to describe the filth, just listen.
TroubleGum - Fragdoll

Dillon Francis - This L.A. based producer has started to earn some recognition with his heavy and obnoxious, but well produced style. His vision of Dubstep production parallels that of the likes of Flux Pavilion and Doctor P, with that touch of Hip-Hop flavor.
Dillon Francis - Beautician

MNNiA - This Hungarian producer caught me by supprise when I heard this extremely funky and demonic tune. This is another one of those tunes that earned an instant spot in my current mix. Check it out.
Avicii & Sebastien Drums - My Feelings For You (MNNiA Bootstep Rmx)

Doctor P. – Watch Out

Doctor P does it again. You know his sound: You either love it or hate it, but it is an undeniable driving force in the future filth movement. His masterful (over)use of obnoxious patches combined with a strong HipHop flavor creates this in your face sound that burrows deep in your mind. Expect this to drop sometime later this month on Circus Records.
